ADA recovered to about $0.2364, and Hoskinson calls Strike×RealFi one of the best DApps on Cardano

Wednesday on Cardano returns part of yesterday's drop. Around 14:14 Central European time, CoinMarketCap had ADA at $0.236386, up 1.68 percent over 24 hours. CoinGecko gave $0.236756 and a gain of 1.89 percent. The working figure is $0.2364. Market value did not match again: CoinMarketCap has $8.70 billion, CoinGecko $8.88 billion. Those are two calculations, not two ADAs.
Bitcoin in the same hour is near $83,700, about 0.6 percent higher on the day. ADA stands at roughly 282 satoshis against it. Yesterday that was closer to 279. The mild outperformance comes from ADA, not from Bitcoin.
Strike, RealFi and the STRIKE token
Charles Hoskinson wrote on X on 14 October at 04:52 Central European time: “RealFi is open for business through Strike. One of the best DApps on Cardano.” In the briefing sample that was the most engaged Cardano post of the day, with about 1,517 likes and 38,990 views. The Crypto Basic the same day writes that Strike added RealFi yield to SLP vaults and USD borrowing at zero percent against sUSDrf collateral, with the note that “up to 50 percent APR” is not guaranteed — rates depend on the market and the vault.
STRIKE on SongMarketCap at 14:14 stands at 2.2726 ADA, about $0.533, up 10.55 percent in the ADA pair. DexHunter is close, 2.2737 ADA. Hub volume for the token is about 51,500 ADA. Cardanians and thecryptobasic follow positively with caution; asset_cryp99 asks how this will translate into actual usage. No SPO reactions appeared in the sample.
Epoch 661 and locked value
Koios puts the chain tip at height 14,067,034. Epoch 661 is about 52 percent complete and closes on Friday, 16 October, at 23:44:51. By 14:14 it had 167,014 transactions in 10,964 blocks, with fees of 40,196 ADA. Active stake stands at 21,263,950,333 ADA. Epoch 660 closed finally at 1,780,896 transactions in 21,243 blocks, with 337,720 ADA in fees. The treasury is 1,378,258,310 ADA. There are 857 DReps, with about 15.92 billion ADA of voting power. AdaStat returned HTTP 400 today.
DeFiLlama, on the newer methodology, gives $67.02 million, about 2.8 percent higher than on 13 October. Among protocols, Minswap is about $17.04 million, the Coinbase bridge about $13.46 million, Liqwid about $12.16 million, FluidTokens about $3.12 million.
