ADA holds near $0.248, and epoch 660 has already logged 1.66 million transactions

Cardano Daily
Sunday on Cardano was quiet in the price and loud on the chain. Around 16:30 Central European time, CoinGecko had ADA at $0.2481, about 3.8 percent lower than the day before. Market value in that reading was about $9.32 billion. Bitcoin at the same time stood near $83,060, only a little above yesterday's close, so ADA fell to roughly 299 satoshis against it.
That is a different picture from early afternoon, when the 24 hour drop was still closer to 2.7 percent. The price never left the area around $0.248. Only the window used to measure the drop changed.
Epoch 660 is heading for midnight
Koios at that hour reports the chain tip at height 14,054,803, still in epoch 660. The epoch began on 6 October at 23:44:51 and ends tonight at the same time. By 16:34 it was about 94 percent complete.
By then it had passed 1,657,099 transactions in 19,973 blocks, about 83 transactions per block. Fees were approaching 314,185 ADA. The treasury stood at about 1.375 billion ADA, and there are no treasury withdrawals in this epoch.
On 9 October, Cardanians cited the old epoch 304 on X as the record, with 1,566,974 transactions. Today's epoch has already left that figure behind, by about 90,000 transactions. I did not pull that old number from the chain again, so the comparison is only as firm as their post.
Locked value and the other tokens
DeFiLlama for Cardano, on the newer methodology, shows about $68.3 million in locked value. The point for 11 October in their daily series is the same, about $68.3 million. Minswap is about $17.8 million, Liqwid about $12.7 million, FluidTokens about $3.6 million.
On SongMarketCap the stablecoins look higher if you read them in ADA. That is mostly a mirror of cheaper ADA, not a break in the dollar peg. SNEK is slightly higher on the day in ADA pairs. NIGHT and $SONG have their own pieces on their own desks.
