The network, gold, and the pair against ADA
Around 14:10 mempool.space gives fees of 2 and 1 satoshi per virtual byte. Height is 974,260. Hashrate is about 1,054 exahash per second. The retarget at height 975,744 is estimated at minus 1.04 percent, around 13 November at 00:24 Central European time. Yesterday the estimate was plus 0.21 percent. That is a change in the estimate, not an adjustment that has already landed.
The Crypto Basic writes today that Bitcoin fell as much as gold last week, or less, despite an attack of about $6.3 billion and an ETF outflow of $643 million. ADA in the same hour is also losing against bitcoin: the pair is at 245.1 satoshis, yesterday 247.8. Until fund flows turn and until Binance's proof of reserves on 3 November comes through cleanly, ADA's beta stays unfavorable. That is a scenario from the briefing, not a forecast.
